Field Trip!

Image
Last week on Friday a club I'm in took a field trip to Golden corral. Who doesn't love a yummy breakfast and some time off school? ;) -Austyn :)

Friendship.

Some friends are like plants. They come and go with the seasons. But every once and a while you find that friend that is like the tree who sticks through every season with all of it's leaves or none at all. No matter the condition they're still there. Lately i've had to find out who my true friends are. The ones i want to keep forever and then the ones who are only there because i let them be. I've come to know this gal more than i ever had imagined. It was just a few years ago i was looking at her in the hallways wondering if I'd ever get to tell her how much i looked up to her. How beautiful she was. God had better plans. Little did we both know that one stupid little biology project would grow the seed of a lifetime. This girl is without a doubt my dearest friend. We've been through ALOT and we have lots more to face. But in the past few hours when one of us hit another bump in the road i realized how much i truly do admire her friendship. ...

Project 365: {week eight}

That time of the week again! :) On Sunday we had Oreo Sundays for Stephen's Birthday. On Monday I spent the day with the kids on our day off since mom had to work. On Tuesday Stephen turned EIGHT! On Wednesday i got some super cute new shoes on sale! I love a good deal! On Thursday i went to a Career Expo and I think that i'm changing careers. On Friday i sat in class and made "Paws for Kindness" And On Saturday the Seussical Cast went to the mall to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday with the little kids. :) I had a great week, hope you did too! -Austyn :)

They Say it's your birthday!

In our house, birthday is non existent. We have birth weeks. if not birth months. and this little boy has sure gotten his off to a great start. We started this weekend while daddy was home with dinner out and Oreo Sundays. Goodness i love this birthday boy! There is nothing more fun than eating whip cream straight out of the can. And dad sure didn't leave the fun out of it! I don't think Stephen has ever done this before, he LOVED it! Then yesterday on his actual birthday after school we prepared for his special dinner, cake and presents. Tilapia and rice. With Choclate cake and choclate icing. Goodness, i think he loves choclate like his sissy! ;) He got to talk on the phone to daddy before getting ready for dinner. And my sweet bff Chelsea who moved away sent him a precious video. He smiled so big. We have a joke they're "married" And he said, "Austyn, she's a nice wife!" lol then it was onto ...

Explore.

I love to explore new things. Now granted the park isn't exploring nor new. But after not going in WAY too long i knew that I needed to take my big 8 year old. We intentionally went out to get gas so we only stayed for about 20 minutes but he Loved every last minute. He was running from one side to the other in .5 seconds. This sister could barely keep up. Be still my heart. He is too precious. And getting so big! One of the first things we LOVED about this area when we moved here was all the activities they have. As far as parks and rec. We even got in touch with our African side. Bongo players at heart! "Look Austyn Im a firefighter!" Oh he's too precious So thankful for a beautiful {cold} day to run around in jackets and flip flops at the park! :) -Austyn :)
