Project 365: {Week Six}

I'm feeling a tad frazzled trying to look through my millions of folders for my pictures this week. So if i get one of the pictures wrong, I apologize in advance. Even though you'll never know the difference.

Sunday: We watched the Super bowl. {only the half time commercials.}

 Monday: As always I went to Happy Hour at Sonic. It seems to be my new place of choice.

Tuesday: We had our sweet friends over for dinner.

 Wednesday: I realized my sweet Mini Me got a case of my OCD. Oops.

Thursday: I enjoyed some delish Girl Scout Cookies while trying to think of my calendar being so full, as not too bad.

Friday: I went to my sweet Addy's birthday party! Boy is she growing fast!

Saturday: I had my first real session.

I know half of them i posted before but i wanted them grouped with their posts and on my 365. This week was so busy I'm super proud i got any pictures. I try to plan what i want but i don't always get the pictures as i would like.

    Congrats on your first photo session!! I'm laughing at the OCD photo - I have a friend who witnessed her 2 year old organize her playdough containers by color instead of wanting to play with the actual dough. She also once found a cooler full of water bottles and while we weren't looking - she took everyone out and lined them up perfectly straight down the hall. HA!

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
