M. Fam Session

Today i had the privelege of assisting a friend of ours, Mrs. Melinda in a session of a family of 5. It was my first "real" session. I was so excited to go and had so much fun! I talked with her about doing more sessions with her and she said she would let me! Yay!! :)
I was really bummed out that my camera wasn't cooperating and i didn't get good photos. We both tried to fix it and it just wasn't having it. But i managed to get a few decent ones. and i even tried a new editing program. So here are my favorites..
 
 
 
 
 
 

I know they're pretty terrible but with cute kids like these how couldn't you love them!? I'm really hoping as i do more photography that my photos get better!

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
