Love.

Love is just one of those things i just absolutely adore.

I often find myself reminding my friends and family how much i love them. But there is nothing more fun than to get an entire day to remind them some more.
I'm not huge on the whole Dating ordeal. But by no means am I unhappy not to have a "date" this year.

On Sunday in Sunday School we made a craft that read...
"Jesus, please be my valentine. You make my life complete.
I can take my cares to you and lay them at your feet.
You give me the blessings i can not live without.
This is the kind of love that Valentine's Day is about."

Cutest thing ever. Yet so so true. He is the only love we need. No person on this earth can love as much as He can. He is the true representation of love.

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
