I learned to laugh and crawl, then sit and stand. Now I can walk if you hold my hand. But the fun has just begun. Look out, She turned One.

My sweet girl Braelynn became a big sister for the 2nd time just a short year ago..

Last night i went over to their gorgeous new house to celebrate Sweet Adalynn's 1st birthday!
She is the most precious thing I've ever seen. I would steal all three of them any day if their momma would let me! ;)

Her sweet mommy is so crafty and put together a sweet Princess and the Pea party with Pajamas and Pancakes.

Even though this is blurry i LOVE it! The smile on her face is too precious for words!

Big sister was snuggled in my lap the entire time. I could eat her to pieces! :)

And since i was running around the entire party, i enjoyed my cupcake with a "Pea" on the way home. It was very yummy!!

Happy Birthday Sweet Addy girl!! I can't believe it's been a year already!

We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
